Men in the Kitchen, Dwarka

Men in the Kitchen, this name itself excited me to visit this casual dining restaurant. 🙂

Overall rating : 3/5
Cost : 700 for two people (approx)
Location : 1st floor, Krishna tower 2, Plot 1, Pocket 7, Sector 12, Dwarka, New Delhi, India; 011-45585301

Men in the Kitchen is situated in Dwarka and becoming a famous restaurant with families and friends. This place is on the first floor of a market compound, it’s secluded, and has ample parking space.

The best part which I like about Men in the Kitchen was the ambience. A cafe style interiors give and awesome feel and vibe. The decor is old school type with neutral colours.

Men in the Kitchen

The sitting is not so huge, but comfortable enough to accommodate. It is a good place to visit with family and also with friends if you want to run away from the noisy pubs of HVK, Gurugram or CP 😉

Furthermore, this place has a mini bar in the corner. So they do serve alcohol.?

The menu here is not so vast, both for food and drinks. They do serve vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The non-vegetarian food is quite famous.

I was visiting with my family, most of them are vegetarians, so tried our hands on veg items.

We ordered tomato shorba and hot&sour soup. And spring roll for starters.

Men in the Kitchen

The shorba was fine but did not like the soup. But the staff was good enough to listen our complain and they re-created the soup for us. It was better the second time.

Spring rolls were the best thing I had from their menu. Unlike many other places I tried, the outer cover was very thin and crispy. The taste was good too. Also, the sweet chutney that they serve along with them was yummy!

Men in the Kitchen

For the main course, we ordered mix vegetable, paneer butter masala and bread. The vegetables were fine, though nothing great.

Also, to add Chinese twist, we had Hakka noodles. The noodles were cooked well, had a lot of veggies. But I personally like it a bit spicy, it was too simple that way!

Apart from all the food, one thing that I liked the most as a sweet papaya pickle that they serve. Yum, it was 🙂

Men in the Kitchen

The food was served well and hot. The service was also fine.

The staff there was courteous, and friendly. Offered us options to decide from the menu.?

Timing : 11:30 am-11 pm
